Do you own a Nokia E7, C7, N8 or X7? Do you find it hard to choose and purchase decent apps on Noki’as Ovi Store? Well apparently you do (find it hard) because in a recent move Three UK have partnered with the Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia to help make choosing apps and purchasing them on the Ovi Store easier, faster and more efficient than ever. If you are wondering how you can access these new features you’ll first need to have one of the devices listed above, and if you do, you should see a branded ‘Three’ page, called ‘Three Likes’ within the Ovi Store, which in the future will show you apps you may like based on your labelled favourites.
On the Three Blog, Chris Hagger posted:
We’re also working on making it easier to buy apps, before most of you had to enter credit/debit card details each time you wanted to buy an app from the Ovi store and some of you used the premium SMS service. Now you can buy an app and payment will be taken from your Three account, and for our PAYG customers apps can be bought from top-up credit. You’ll get an email confirming your purchase and our pay-monthly customers will now see exactly which app they’ve bought and how much it cost on their monthly bill.
